We were gifted a CAR!

I have to say I've been blessed with the most amazing in-laws ever. My in-laws who live on the east coast came to visit us this past week and they gave us an amazing gift.

They gave us a Honda Accord!

Yes, a real sized one, not the kid motor ones you drive around the front yard although I always wanted one of those Barbie ones. I am so grateful. My husband and I have been using one car for such a long time we had gotten used to sharing it. This last year when I worked as a substitute teacher at an elementary school he would drop me off and come pick me up from school. Now we can drive whenever wherever which is now super convenient. And heaven forbid our old car break down, we can still rescue the other since we have a spare.

We were tempted to buy another car a couple years ago, but really did not feel comfortable with going thousands of dollars into debt. It is so easy to rack up credit card loans, car loans, and heck even furniture loans these days. How easy it would have been to sign our names on the dotted lines. But if you are wise you will also know it is far easier to get into debt than to get OUT of it.

So you can imagine how blessed we felt when our in-laws decided to give us a car! It was a great surprise.

I'm now excited to keep the car SPOTLESS. Anytime I leave the car, all wrappers and empty cups from fast food locations are entered into the trash immediately. There is nothing quite like a clean car.
